The heart is part of our body that we need to live, it also is used often as a symbol for love. For both these reasons I often use an image of the heart in my work. I have always told myself I was no good with drawing portraits. I thought I couldn't do it, and after a while I gave up even thinking about attempting a serious portrait. Until now, I decided that I would practice with portraits during the summer while I had more free time (out of school). I was discouraged for the first few and almost gave up once again.
